杨海崧是北京后朋乐队PK14的核心人物，也是北京地下音乐圈的引领者之一。PK14在1997年成立于南京，至今已经在海内外巡演过多次，并被《时代周刊》选为2008年的亚洲最佳乐队之一。作为中国独立厂牌兵马司的创始人之一，他也是厂牌下众多乐队的专辑制作人，如Carsick Cars、Ourself Beside Me和8 Eye Spy。杨海崧是中国当代摇滚最有影响力的人物之一。
除去上述身份以外，他同同时还是出版过诗集的诗人和写短篇小说的作家。
Yang Haisong is the frontman of Beijing post-punk band P.K. 14 and one of the leading figures in Beijing's underground music scene. Founded in Nanjing in 1997, P.K.14 have toured extensively in China and overseas, and were selected by Time magazine as one of "Asia's Best Bands" in 2008. As the founding force behind the preeminent independent record label Maybe Mars and as a producer for many underground bands such as Carsick Cars, Ourself Beside Me and 8 Eye Spy, Haisong is one of the most influential figures in the world of Chinese rock.
He is also a published poet and short story author.
