LOVE DANCING is a monthly party and the name of DJ duo Warm It Up Chris and JLM. The night has been running for over a year and takes place in a variety of out of the way venues from intimate lofts to dirty basements. We find these places to provide people with a comfortable and open space to go wild. Our music policy is open-minded taking in kaleidoscopic sounds from a deep catalog of disco, house, acid, UK bass, weird-pop, afrobeat, digital cumbia, no wave, reggae, jazz and soul. Warm It Up Chris and JLM bring an energetic and infectious style to the decks informed by the tradition of experimental dance floor DJ's such as Larry Levan, Optimo and Daniel Baldelli. Warm It Up Chris has been an instrumental partner in the success of such storied Vancouver parties as Glory Days and the New Forms Festival 10 opening festival. JLM produces records for Jason Lev’s Truth Is Light record label.
