Walter F. McDonough is the General Counsel and one of the founders of the Future of Music Coalition. The FMC is a non-profit research institute that examines the law, economics and technology of the music business and is renowned for its annual policy conference. Mr. McDonough is a practicing attorney in Boston and a former adjunct professor of copyright law at Suffolk University Law School. He also serves as a board member on the United States performing rights society Sound Exchange and the AARC.
